The purpose of the ACET Association is to:

• Promote and support research and teaching of automatic control, applied to various fields including engineering, health sciences, biology, economics, and social sciences.
• Promote research in the fields of emerging technologies: digitalization, artificial intelligence, big data and data science, IoT and IIoT, renewable energies, electric vehicles, etc
• Promote synergies among national and international actors, and enhance the visibility of the Moroccan scientific community in these fields.
• Foster collaboration among professionals in automatic and intelligent control, encouraging the free exchange of ideas and expertise.
• Establish scientific cooperation with all national or international institutions and organizations with similar objectives.
• Organize scientific meetings (national and international), symposia, study days, round tables, and other scientific events in automatic control and emerging technologies.
• Be a dependable source for publishing, editing, and disseminating information on automatic control and emerging technologies.
• Promote and facilitate the University's engagement with its surrounding private and public socio-professional environment.
• Contribute to the development of training and its alignment with the job market's needs.
• Support researchers in developing work, surveys, and accomplishments aligned with the Association's goals.
• Support and promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and prototyping in control applications and emerging technologies.
• Share information about national and international project funding opportunities in automatic control and emerging technologies.
• Facilitate and organize various types of ongoing education projects in collaboration with private or public socio-economic organizations.
• Inspire and guide young students to pursue studies in control and emerging technologies.
• Establish awards and recognitions in Automatic Control and Emerging Technologies.
• Conclude any agreement and convention within the framework of its objectives.
